Oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico is a huge catastrophe U.S is facing. No one can estimate the catastrophic effects it will have on the environmental life. But the impacts of this Deepwater Horizon leak in the Gulf may be far worse given that much of the loose oil is actually in the water column, not on the surface. In fact, researchers have recently detected huge deepwater plumes of dispersed oil. The scientists found damaged deep sea coral several miles from the BP well, which is an indication that the ecological consequences of the spill may be far more than what officials have stated.

Toyota, a Japanese car manufacturing company, has to recall its cars due to some faults. It’s not something unique that Toyota has experienced. Toyota holds a strong brand image in the minds of consumers. Customers rate Toyota good due to its quality product hence quality is a trade mark of Toyota. But why customers were seen bit dissatisfied? This was a big question mark!!! And the answer was crystal clear….Toyota management didn’t respond well after this recall. For instance one of the consumers complained “I don't believe I can ever trust a Toyota car again. They have to show a lot to change my mind in the future" (Steinberg 2). Reliability rating went down from 92.4% to 66.4%. Toyota‘s image began to tarnish due to improper handling of recall. The company didn’t respond quickly to the consumers about the fact that how they are going to tackle the issue? And how will they fix the problem? The company should handle the matter in a transparent manner.
